Training of African specialists in planning, statistics and demography

Abstract

The principle of co-operation and collective self-reliance which African States have adopted recognizes in respect of human resources training and utilization that African countries must first help themselves individually and collectively in striving for survival and progress. Such goals could only be achieved through strong and unwavering support of African governments, both directly and indirectly, to the training of specialists inter-alias in the fields of planning, statistics and demography.
