Using the SNA as framwork for data collection in economic statistics for planning in developing economies
Abstract
The present U.N. System of National Accounts (SNA, 1968) has been in use for nearly two decades. It has been accepted by the vast majority of countries as their own national system of accounts and used to co-ordinate data collection and analysis through the provision of a set of general-purpose definitions and classifications.
