Progress report on the implementation of resolution 827 (XXXII), on rationalization and harmonization of regional development institutions : Follow-up on rationalization measures and definition of a new relationship between ECA and the institutions
Abstract
This document is to report on the progress made in the implementation of this resolution as requested by the Conference of Ministers. The document is divided into two parts. Part One gives account of follow-up actions and progress on the rationalization measures. As part of the aforementioned resolution, Part Two defines new relationship between ECA and the institutions. Progress in the implementation of the rationalization measures, in particular those relating to the consolidation or merger of some institutions, has been mixed. The process involving ARCT-ARCEDEM and AATPO-FACC is relatively advanced, but that of RECTAS-CRTO and IDEP-ACARTSOD has not been encouraging.
