dc.description.abstractThe inadequate telecommunication infrastructure in Sudan has hindered the development of telematics. However, significant improvements are expected by 1996 with the establishment of the Sudan Domsat Satellite Network and modern telecommunication infrastructure. Current applications include education, government, and business sectors using packet-switching radio networks. Future needs include international connections, continuous training, and local technical expertise to fully leverage telematics for development.en
