dc.description.abstractSierra Leone's first geological survey service was founded in 1918. He is credited with establishing and publishing the first geological map of Sierra Leone, but he has failed to find any evidence. mineral deposits of immediate economic interest, and was dissolved in 1921 for lack of funds. This first geological map was published in the Geological Survey Service Report for 1921. At this time, the Geological Survey Division began to procure more complex material for the design office.en
