Abstract
The aim of this technical assistance is to improve planning machinery and building the appropriate capabilities in planning and modelling exercises at the country level in order to help the African countries in the formulation of economic strategies and policies within coherent and consistent national development plans. It also aims at promoting subregional cooperation in the fields of production, trade, money and finance through appropriate measures of analysis of potentialities and industrial allocations.
