dc.description.abstractThe industrial development programme of the Commission is a reflection of the aspirations of African States for greater processing of their raw materials locally and the acceleration of industrial development in order to raise the people’s standard of living through greater self-reliance at the national and regional level. The implementation of the industrial programme depends on the resources provided under the regular budget of the UN, the resources provided by UNIDO, OAU and the African Trust Fund and the UN as well as some bilateral assistance.en
