This paper focuses on New Delhi action plan on infrastructure development in Asia and the Pacific: review of implementation. The Ministerial Conference on Infrastructure, held at New Delhi in October 1996, adopted the New Delhi Declaration on Infrastructure Development in Asia and the Pacific, thereby launching the Action Plan and approving a set of 64 operational activities for phase I (1997-2001) of the regional action programme. This document reviews several issues related to the implementation of the regional action programme.
