dc.description.abstractThis paper focuses on the employment and socio-economic situation of women in some North African countries. The purposes of this paper the expression "inside manpower" is used to cover that section of the population which can be exploited in economic activity, i.e. all the population excluding those who are unable to work. The expression outside manpower refers to children below 6, and persons over 65'who are not gainfully employed.en
