Abstract
This report has responded to the request of the Conference of Ministers by making proposals for streamlining the intergovernmental machinery. The present structure of the intergovernmental machinery of the Commission consists of no less than 30 legislative and subsidiary organs. These may be grouped into three categories, namely organs dealing with overall development issues, organs dealing with sectoral issues, and technical subsidiary bodies.
