This paper focuses on the matters arising from the eleventh session of the statistical commission. All subjects mentioned in its report (document E/3375) are of course of interest to members of the conference, some subjects are however of particular interest, of their because the commission itself is drawing the attention of regional conferences or because they are related to conditions in Africa.
