dc.description.abstractThis study explores the application of the System of Environmental-Economic Accounting-Ecosystem Accounting (SEEA EA) to assess Ethiopia's aquatic ecosystems. Focusing on ecosystem extent, the research highlights changes in aquatic ecosystems from 2000 to 2021, revealing a net reduction of 394 km². The findings underscore the importance of integrated natural resource management and policy development to address ecosystem degradation and promote sustainable development.en
