African statistical newsletter = Bulletin d'information statistique
dc.description.abstract | The spread of COVID-19 in Africa has been increasing exponentially since mid-March. COVID-19 is not only claiming lives, but also changing them by exposing the world’s resilience and adaptability. Governments are implementing various strategies that range from simple restrictions for the containment of the virus to isolation of cities and regions in order to contain the pandemic. The purpose is to understand how the statistical programmes are being affected and to share information on the measures being put in place in different countries to ensure data provisioning during this global crisis. | en |
