Sustainable Development Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all by 2030
Abstract
Sustainable Development Goal 4, as defined, is operationalized in seven specific areas, each with clear targets and indicators of progress. The areas are the following: universal primary and secondary education; early childhood development and universal pre-primary education; equal access to technical, vocational and tertiary education; relevant skills for decent work; gender equality and inclusion; literacy and numeracy; and education for sustainable development and global citizenship.
