Abstract
Within the framework of mobilizing external resources, and after consultation with the Eastern Africa Development Center, the Secretariat for Eastern Africa cooperation requested our Center to assist it with an "evaluation study on the situation of ports on Lake Victoria. The Eastern Africa Cooperation secretariat entrusted the team of the Eastern Africa Sub-Regional Development Center with the evaluation study on Lake Victoria Ports. The Center was also requested to carry out an economic study on the Lake Victoria area.
