Some lessons drawn from recent programmes of surveys in certain North African Countries

Abstract

In North African countries, large-scale statistics surveys deal either with households or establishments. As in other areas of Africa, household surveys may deal with demography (structural and current data), Agricultural (structural and current data), social statistics-employment and under-employment, household consumption. Surveys of establishment may deal with different subjects (structural data-current economic data-wages and salaries-employment-economic situation- labor needs) or with various branches.
