Resolutions and decisions of interest to the commission adopted by the Economic and Social Council at its twenty ninth and thirtieth sessions

Abstract

This resolution refers specifically to ECA resolution 10(II) and deals with the request for additional funds to be included in the regular budget, for urgent and transitional needs of newly independent countries, particularly in Africa. In operative paragraph 4 of this resolution, the council requests that, detailed programmes be submitted to the 15th session of the general Assembly and to the November 1960 session of TAC. The purpose of this paper is to draw the attention of the Commission to a number of resolutions and decisions, relevant to the work of the commission, which have adopted by the Economic Commission and social Council, the General Assembly and the other regional Economic Commissions since the end of the second session of ECA.
