Report of the sixth meeting of the Technical Committee of Experts: organization of the meeting

Abstract

Report of the Sixth meeting of the Technical Committee of the Experts (Kinshasa, 16-19 Feb. 1977). A representative of the secretariat introduced the document entitled "Notes on basic policy issues for socio-economic development in Africa" (E/CN.14/TEC0/36). Another representative introduced the document entitled 11 Introduction to the programme of work and priori ties for 1976-1977 and 1978-1979" (E/CN.14/TEC0/38). The Committee decided that the two documents would serve as a background for the consideration of the other documents, which it had before it. Members of the secretariat were asked to introduce the various parts of the programme of work and priorities for 1976-1977 and for 1978-1979 in the order in which they appeared in the table of contents of documents E/CN.14/TEC0/34/ Rev.l and E/CN.14/TEC0/35/Rev,l.
