Abstract
The proposal in document E/CN.14/3 that the rules of procedure of the commission provide that Arabic be a working language of the commission would have financial implications for the United Nations budget. If the proposal were adopted the secretary general would includes the related financial requirements in his budget estimates for 1960,which will be submitted to the general assembly for consideration at its fourteenth regular session in fall of 1959.
