Development and improvement of post-graduate training and research at STPA centres
| dc.description.abstract | It should be recalled that there are a total of fifteen statistical training centers which participate in the Statistical Training Programme for Africa (STPA). At the outset twelve training centers were selected to participate in the STPA. Three additional centers were subsequently admitted to make a total of 15. The two essential criteria for selection of the centers were the international character of the services which the centers offered and the practical orientation of the teaching programmes which met the needs of the national statistical services. | en |
