The OAU/ECA/ADB joint secretariat should convene a workshop/seminar that brings the three continental organizations together with the RECs in order to: identify their respective strength and weakness, and thereafter agree on the deployment of their comparative advantages to meet the different needs of these organizations in mainstreaming gender; agree on an allocation of responsibilities which allow the whole continent to benefit from already existing capacities and ongoing best practices; facilities follow-up implementation of Dakar and Beijing platform for action.
