Abstract
Statement by Carlos Lopes UN Under-Secretary-General and Executive Secretary of ECA at the 13th session of the Regional Coordination Mechanism of UN Agencies and Organizations working in Africa. Mr. Lopes on his remarks highlighted that, the theme of this meeting the post-2015 development agenda is very timely. There are several processes and consultations going on in this regard and we will be hearing from key actors in the process. The focus of this meeting on “the post-2015 agenda” is not intended to detract us from our already approved work programmes.
