Abstract
There is only very limited information available for 1974 and in the commercial agriculture sector the seed cotton crop for 1973/4 was about 45000 tons compared with 50000 tons in 1972/3 commercial palm oil production in 1973/4 was lass than in the previous season and estimated suggest 22500 tons of palm and palm kernel oil compared with 28700 tons in 1972/3 purchases of cocoa were much reduced to about 4500 tons in 1973/4 from the level of 19600 tons in 1972/3.
