Abstract

Closing Remarks by Dr. Dimitri Sanga Chief, Statistical Development African Centre for Statistics at the second meeting of statistical commission for Africa. Dr. Sanga, on his remarks highlighted that, This second meeting of the Commission brought together a mix of statisticians, policy makers, national statistical associations, PRSP units’ representatives, statistical training centers, universities, young statisticians, regional economic communities and technical and financial partners. This mix led to very intensive and varied discussions. It is worth noting that partnership was key in organizing and successfully concluding this second meeting of the StatCom-Africa.
