Abstract

Statement on behalf of the executive secretary of the Economic Commission for Africa by Mr. E.W. Mathu special assistant to the Executive Secretary. The representative on his statement points out that the main objective of this seminar is to bring together directors of schools of social work, as well as administrators of in-service training programmes, for an exchange of knowledge and information on methods of training for social work and training patterns developed in the various African countries.
