This resolutions 2(I) adopted by the commission at its 12th and 13th meetings on 6 January 1959 on United Nations and Industrial Economic aid to the independent states and to the territories awaiting independence in Africa considering the vast programme of industrialization undertaken in Guinea in 1957 with the building of the Fria and Boke alumina works and the Konkoure hydro-electric power dam and the recent admission of Guinea to membership of the United Nations.
