Abstract

The Joint ECA/UNEP/ADB Curriculum Development Training Workshop on the Incorporation of Environmental Components into the Training Programmes of ECA-sponsored Institutions African Development Bank (ADB) Abidjan, Prepubic of "Cote d'Ivoire", 18-23 November 1985 report. Overview of Environmental Management, Education and training (Agenda item 4). This agenda item is a technical paper entitled "An Overview of Environmental Management (Education and Training)”, was presented by the representative of ECA. This Conference defined the role of environmental education. and the relevant objectives and guiding principles and strategies. The ECA representative pointed out the aims and objectives of environmental education and training for developing awareness.
