| dc.description.abstract | The seminar organized by ECA and the Union of African Railways with the assistance of the French Government took place in Africa Hall, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from 22 to 26 November 1982. Representatives of the following railway networks attended the seminar Algeria, Benin-Niger, Djibouti-Ethiopia, Egypt, Gabon, Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, Madagascar, Mali, Nigeria, Senegal, Tanzania-Zambia, United Republic of Tanzania and Zimbabwe. The Deputy Executive Secretary highlighted the close association between UAR and ECA in the railway programme and praised the dynamic efforts of the UAR Secretary-General in this field. | en |
