dc.description.abstract | Manpower fanning involves an assessment of manpower simply and demand situations within an economy and within a given time frame. It requires a full balance sheet indicating the total requirements in manpower to operate all production sectors within the economy, an estimate of the current levels of manpower availability, a projection of both requirements and supply into the future, an analysis as to whether there will emerge surpluses or shortages, and the formulation of plans aimed at redressing imbalances identified through training, redeployment, imports etc., Employment planning involves more or less the same process, with the only difference being in objectives. | en |
