Back ground paper: review and appraisal of the chemical industry performance, strategies and policies in the Central , Eastern and Western African countries
Abstract
The objective of the mission is to implement work programme project No.S.331.08 and 9.332.01, review and appraisal the chemical industry performance, strategies and policies with a view to design measures and programmes for development of the chemical industry sector in African countries. The review and appraisal has the following purposes to indicate actual development in the chemical industry since 1970; to analyze disparities between current performance of the chemical industry and goals and policies laid down and to suggest corrective action.
