dc.description.abstractThe final Act of Lagos (FAL) is an integral part of the Lagos plan of Action (LPA). It constitutes a major cornerstone of the latter which it also complements and supplements in various ways so much so that it is practically impossible to study one independently from the other or at least without fully taking into account the interaction between the two. The aim of this paper is after briefly recalling the main provisions of the FAL to take stock of achievements to date review current problems and prospects and submit a number of suggestions for actions to be taken to facilitate or accelerate the implementation of the provisions of the FAL.en
