dc.description.abstractThe sixth special session of the General Assembly, which had been called to the initiative of President Hourari Boumedienne of Algeria, closed its deliberations by adopting a Declaration on the Establishment of a New International Economic order (1) and a Programme of Action (2) intended to put the declaration into effect. The two texts were adopted with out a vota. However, a number of the developed countries recorded their reservations about parts of the texts.en
