The development of official statistics in Ghana
Abstract
The object of this paper is to describe the functions of the Ghana Government’s statistical service and to give some indication of how it may be developed to meet the requirements in respect of information for administrative and planning purposes in the future. The paper is not directly concerned with statistics which may be produced and published by organizations other the statistical service.
