Abstract
The integral thrust of ECA's initiative was to create a collaborative,health and mutually respectful relationship between governments, on one hand, and people's organizations, community groups and NGOs on the other. closer relationship and on going dialogue between government and popular development organizations will make it possible for the latter to be more active in contributing to the formulation and implementation of national policies and programs. It is within this context that the National Policy Workshop on "Enhancing Dialogue, Cooperation and Interface between The Gambia Government and Popular Development Organizations" was organized in The Gambia.
