Abstract
This paper presents a very brief review of regional activities relating to the development and application of sampling methods. It draws attention to -a number of sampling topics of current interest and also contains suggestions on means by which countries and the
Secretariat can co-operate in improving and promoting the use of sample inquiries in the region.
