Fourth meeting of the Ministerial follow up Committee of ten of the ECA conference of Ministers responsible for human resources planning development and utilization

Abstract

At the third meeting of the ECA Conference of Ministers Responsible for Human Resources Planning, Development and Utilization which was held in Khartoum, Sudan from 9 to 13 March 1988, the decision was taken that in view of the seriousness of the problems of human resources in Africa and the imperative to accord highest priority to the development and utilization of human resources, the meeting of the Conference's Ministerial Follow-up Committee of Ten should be convened every year, alongside the ECA Conference of Ministers responsible for Economic Development and Planning. In pursuance of this decision, the fourth meeting of the Ministerial Follow-up Committee of Ten of the Conference was convened at Africa Hall, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on 4 and 5 April 1989,
