Abstract
The main efforts of the Advisory Committee had, therefore, been to give to ECOSOC the benefit of the expertise and experience of its members in ensuring that their work in the application of science and technology was properly oriented so as to be relevant to the problems that existed in the developing countries and that the arrangements for Buch action as needs to be taken were effective and efficient.
