Sub-Committee of geoinformation synthesis report of activities of ECA sponsored synthesis report of activities of ECA sponsored regional centres of excellence in field of geoinformation
Abstract
This report is a synthesis of activities-that are relevant to the work of the Subcommittee on Geo information, undertaken by regional centers of excellence in Geo information sponsored by the United Nations Economic Commission, for Africa (ECA). These are the Regional Centre for Training in Aerospace Surveys (RECTAS) and the Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development (RCMRD). The activities of these centers,' together with those of the African Organization for Cartography and Remote Sensing (AOCRS), are synergistically coordinated with ECA's Geo information Systems Section (GiSS).
