Statistical development and planning
Abstract
The Conference expressed the wish-that this topic should be one of the major items in the statistical wrork, programme of the ECA secretariat and indicated the general lines along which the project should be developed. In accordance with these wishes a detailed paper on statistical, development in Africa has been prepared for consideration by a working group of statisticians and planners in the early part of 1965.
