Introduction to possible questionnaire

Abstract

This document refers, in broad outline, to the steps taken by ECA, within its terms of reference, to give effect to resolutions adopted at various Commission sessions. It is therefore intended primarily to give the Executive Committee some idea of the sort of document that might be forwarded to individual states, and to provide a basis for eliciting the information Governments might care to give on the steps they have taken to implement the resolutions. A further document will be prepared later, giving the actual wording of resolutions and a detailed statement of what the secretariat has done by way of implementation.
