The latest developments in world economic policy have led ECLA to devote a growing proportion of its technical resources to the intensive study of two subjects of paramount importance. The first is Latin American trade policy within the world context, particularly in view of the forth coming United Nations Conference on Trade and Development; and the second, methods for accelerating the Latin American integration process.
