Abstract
The Fourth Regional Conference on the Integration of Women in Development on the Implementation of the Arusha Strategies on the Advancement of Women in Africa was held in Abuja, Nigeria from 6 to 10 November, 1989 and during which was equally featured the Tenth Anniversary of the Africa Regional coordinating Committee for the Integration of Women in Development (ARCC). The Conference was honored with the presence of His Excellency General Ibrahim Babangida, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and who declared the Conference open.
