| dc.description.abstract | Regional Cooperation and Economic Integration has become an indispensable stage in the development process spurred by the GATT/WTO paradigm of liberalization and globalization. However, past experience has shown that Regional Cooperation and Economic Integration is fraught with numerous constraints namely institutional, structural, economic, political and even socio-cultural coupled with technical difficulties in the preparation and implementation of regional projects as compared to national ones.
