dc.description.abstractFollowing various modifications which were made in the method of evaluating the SDR, the last of which took place in December 198O, the first meeting- of the Ministerial Follow-up Committee on International Trade and Finance for African Development requested the secretariats of the Economic Commission for Africa and the Organization of African Unity to study the consequences for African countries of the new method of evaluating the SDR, This document was prepared pursuant to that request.en
