Report of the fifth meeting of the coordinating committee on African Statistical development(CASD)
Abstract
The Acting Executive Secretary stated that the activities of
the CASD are quite in line with the current preoccupation of the
EGA aimed at assisting its member States to build critical
capacities as is demonstrated by the fact that the last two
sessions of the Commission and meetings of the Conference of
Ministers responsible for economic development and planning were
focused on the theme: "Building critical capacities in Africa for
accelerated growth and sustainable development".
