Abstract
This paper focuses on progress report on the African household surveys capability programme (AHSCP) at the working group on organization, content and methodology of household surveys Addis Ababa, 15-19 October 1979. The forking Group reviewed previous Africa household; surveys with, respect to methodology? Co-ordination and coverage. The Group discussed; briefly the multi-purpose and/or multi-subject approach in household surveys and examined the extent of its use in past surveys by countries of the region.
