Abstract
In 1953 the Department of Public Instruction in cooperation with UNESCO, the Interior Department and Interior authorities selected a site at Klay for the National Fundamental Education Training Center. This met the approval of our illustrious and dynamic President, Dr. William1 V.S. Tubman, and arrangements were made for the construction of a student's village, an administrative building, staff quarters and classrooms.
