Preparation for the international conference on population and development : progress report
Résumé
The paper briefly outlines the preparatory activities for the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD.94) scheduled to be held in Cairo, Egypt, in September 1994. At the global level, these activities cover the six expert group meetings, three preparatory committee meetings, five regional conferences and five thematic round-table meetings. For each of these, the scope and main conclusions and/or recommendations are presented.
