This paper focuses on summary records of the nineteen meetings held at the Maison de Tanger, Tangier, between 26 January and 6 February 1960. Africa, which has long been regarded merely as a source of supply of raw materials and manpower for exploitation by foreign capital, had now become a political entity and as such had swiftly realized that the real objectives of its renascence could be fully achieved only by an economic revolution.
