The overall objective of the Ad hoc Expert Group meeting was to discuss, consider and make recommendations on the tools, which ACGD will develop for mainstreaming gender into poverty reduction strategies (PRS) using national planning instruments, especially, national accounts and national budget as an entry point. The Experts also considered tools for analyzing impacts of fiscal policy on women's time use, women’s welfare, economic growth and poverty reduction.
